We decided to do a focus group after the second draft, this was to get feedback on the added aspects, the first question we asked was about the added performance section, it was clear to myself and the people in our focus group that the performance section really wasn't of the same quality as the other footage, following the focus group we decided to re-film this and ensure it was of better quality to fit in with the other shots we have.
We then went on to ask about the effect in which we added to the female characters shots, Jody said that she liked this effect because it she felt it made the character look like someone which you want to be, it makes them look 'special'. Following the focus group we decided to keep this effect on each shot of the female character.
Then we went on to ask if they think the performance distracts you from the narrative, to which Jody answered no, she said she thinks that it adds to the video and that it doesn't distract you from the video, it makes it better to connect with the artist, she then suggested we changed the colour of the video to make it clearer that it isn't part of the narrative, following the focus group we took Jody's suggestion into consideration and made the performance section 'black and white'.
Finally we asked whether or not the lip syncing is in time and looks good, to which we got positive feedback, Billie said that it look realistic which we was pleased with as we was trying to achieve this.
