When editing the digipak I decided to take control to begin with as I had never used PhotoShop before and wanted to become more familiar with the program. I first played around with the different tools and edits and then started to edit the images that we had previously shot.
I researched how to make different aspects of images in black and white and other aspects in colour, this was difficult at first but once I knew how to do it, it then became an easy edit. I added all the images that I though were best and then edited them and showed them to the group, from this we gave each other feedback and then decided to see if there was another edit that we could add also. We like the back and white and colour but once we looked through the edits we found a cartoon style that we liked and added that too, we felt that this was a different effect that will fit the indie genre and also be different to make it stand out.
I enjoyed editing the digipak because I learnt new skills and felt that as a group we created a good design that is effective for the genre and there is clear synergy running throughout our media products.
