Pitch
We worked as a group to create our pitch as we were all had our own ideas that we wanted to include in the music video in which we are going to produce. When creating out pitch I had a lot of input when it came to the song choice because I think that a more depressing slow song which we have selected is more powerful an the narrative will have more meaning, I also feel although the song has an emotional attachment.
From this pitch we have decided that we are going to look into the locations that we are going to film in, this will give us the ability to lan our music video out, we will also do some casting as we can then select a fitting artist name and start to plan out Logo, CD cover, etc.

From this I learnt what different genres where most common in different year groups, I then learnt about the development of the music players, this then developed to phones which played music videos whilst on the move. The development of technology ha made music and music videos more common.

Welcome to my blog
This is my A2 blog which will represent new skills that I am going to learn over the year and the skills that I previously learnt in my AS coursework. From my AS coursework I have developed skills in filming and editing which will be a good starting platform when it comes to making my music video.
The skills in which i have developed consist of;
- The ability to edit content in a professional way
- A strong understanding of the software 'FinalCutPro'
- Professional logo and title page designs
- Capturing the perfect shot using angles within my camera work
I wish to develop more skills that will help me create the best music video possible with clean editing and professional logo designs and other media products, these skills include;
- Designing skills - by this I mean, how to use different software to create the best possible logo and media products to make my music video and other content successful.
- Further my understanding of music videos, and what makes them successful.
- The creation of synergy between products.
I have been put in a group with my peers to create a music video with these people were selected by my subject teacher and I hope to work well with them to create a good media product, the people I will be working with are; Micheal, Ayoola, and Todd, I get on well with these people on a personal level so I hope we can all work together and have good communication to help the production stages move smoothly.
